Sanzu is an aloof girl, and a member of the Bad Apples. She is quite good at mixing up unique blends of tea, and often serves it to the other Bad Apples. her Soul Totem is a pair of headphones.
Appearance[]
Sanzu has long black hair and grey eyes. She is dressed in a black jacket over a red and white striped t-shirt with a red bow on the front and white shorts. Sanzu also wears long red stockings and white shoes.
Personality[]
Sanzu is introduced as the "Cool Girl" when first encountering the Bad Apples. She retains a disinterested expression at all times though she is very observant and cares for the other members of the Bad Apples by typically being the one to prepare their drinks during work.
Sanzu has a fear of ending up alone. For example, after learning the band in her previous life would be dissolved, she was shocked.
Soul Totem[]
Her Soul Totem is a pair of headphones that can transform into a microphone. Her headphones can play just one of her favorite songs, but only she can hear it.
History[]
Sanzu met Yoh for the first time when they were both in middle school, in the same class. Sanzu thought of him as loud and annoying since he would always try to get her attention by telling jokes or inviting her to a date. She would always turn him down. One day, she listens to a rock music CD that Yoh loaned her. When she heard the last song, it touched her heart. The next day, Yoh asks her if she wants to start a band with him. After that, those days with the band they created, the Suns, were the best of her life. However, when the group was on their way for the next indie battle of the bands, Sanzu heard a conversation between Yoh and the others about the show would be their last one together. She was too shocked about it that she wasn't paying attention to driving the bus, causing an accident. The last thing she did before dying with Yoh, she tried to cover and protect him.

Sanzu and Rinka are friends. She admits to Rinka she's the first girlfriend she ever had.

Sanzu seems very independent though she often hangs around with Yoh. They have been friends since middle school and joined a band together later on. Though she is formal and kind to those around her, she seems to let go when it comes to Yoh, often seen being rough with him and speaking more comfortably.
